Our team of receptionists, or Patient Advisors, provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. Our team are trained to provide information on services and results and direct you to the right person or service depending on your health issue or query.
Patient Advisors have the most contact with patients when booking appointments with the GPs, Nurses, Health Care Assistants and other specialist staff we have. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.
Muscular-Skeletal Specialist (MSK) - Can provide specialist advice and treatment for your neck, back, bones, joints and muscles. MSKs can provide assessments and treatments including joint injections.
Social Prescriber - Our Social Prescriber can offer patients wellbeing and support advice. This services is commissioned by the Stalybridge Primary Care Network (PCN) and managed with our partners at Action Together.
Mental Wellbeing Practitioner - Our MWP can provide advice and counselling to patients who may require wellbeing and mental health support. This services is commissioned by the Stalybridge Primary Care Network (PCN) and managed with our partners at Minds Matter (The Big Life Group).
Pharmacist - Our Primary Care Network Pharmacist works with GP practices in the community to undertake medication reviews and prescription plans for patients in collaboration with our doctors. This service is commissioned by the Stalybridge Primary Care Network (PCN).
Visiting Midwife - Attends the practice to offer advice and checks on pregnant patients.
